FinScope Tanzania 2017 is the fourth installment of the nationally representative demand side surveys of the financial sector carried out in Tanzania, with the first being in 2006, then 2009 and 2013. In 2017, we embarked on a larger scale, more comprehensive survey. Not only did we interview households, we also mapped out financial access points across Tanzania, allowing us to draw a direct link between the demand and supply side.
