It’s with great pleasure that we invite you to join the live stream of the official launch of the FinScope Tanzania 2023 | Zanzibar Report, co-hosted by the President’s Office – Finance and Planning, Bank of Tanzania, Office of the Chief Government Statistician – Zanzibar (OCGS), National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), and the Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania (FSDT). The event will take place on March 27, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The launch will be officiated by the Guest of Honor, His Excellency Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar and Chairman of Revolutionary Council. The event will also feature an in-depth panel discussion, moderated by Mr. Abubakar Harith Bakar from Zanzibar Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC).

FinScope Tanzania is a nationally representative demand-side survey that provides insights into the financial needs, preferences, and behaviours of consumers, being adult Tanzanians from 16 years and above. It also provides insight into their attitudes and perceptions regarding money management, financial products and services, as well as information regarding demographics and overall lifestyles. It is tailored to be optimally useful for those who want credible information, benchmarks and trends of financial inclusion across mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
