George Mwachang’a is a skilled Investment and Credit Risk Analyst with over nine years of experience in banking and development sectors. He is joining the Financial Sector Deepening Trust (FSDT) as an Investment Analyst, where he will focus on financial analysis and monitoring performance. Previously, as Credit and Risk Management Officer at the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP), he led credit assessments and risk strategies under the AfDB-funded Trade Credit Guarantee Program. He also enhanced portfolio quality as Senior Credit Risk Analyst at Mwanga Hakika Bank and gained credit administration experience at EFC Tanzania Microfinance and TCB Bank. His expertise spans financial analysis, risk management, and relationship building, driving impactful results in diverse financial environments.

George holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Mzumbe University, specializing in Corporate Management, and a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from Kampala International University (Main Campus, Uganda).
