FSDT Presents ‘The Gathering’

The Gathering is a one of a kind thought provoking series that triggers discussions on the future of the financial sector in Tanzania. Our fourth episode of the Gathering-Innovation and Regulation will bring together innovators (Financial Service Providers / FinTechs), regulators, and policy makers to define the future of the financial sector through innovation.

The session seeks to establish a dialogue between regulators and innovators with a possibility of establishing Tanzania’s first Regulatory Sandbox and an innovation-friendly environment. This instalment of The Gathering builds on a series of insights to solution innovation sprints with financial service providers dubbed FinDisrupt and a recent regulatory innovation and policy sprint dubbed FinDisrupt Regulator. Both sessions produced new financial service ideas and policies that we can advance and pave a way for further improvements.
